“Genie Music Awards” has been proceeding with the global vote for “Global Popularity Award” since October 11.

Nominees for “Global Popularity Award” include BTS, Blackpink, LIm Youngwoong, Big Bang, Psy, NCT, Twice, Stray Kids, Ateez, etc.
BTS, however, has placed second behind “LIm Youngwoong” by a big margin in the vote for “Global Popularity Award”.
Now, there is breaking news that BTS succeeded in claiming No.1 by the slightest margin on “Global Popularity Award”.
At 2 am (KST) on November 3, BTS claimed No.1 with a total of 8,363,637 votes, dethroning “LIm Youngwoong”.
By this, BTS succeeded in winning by a 0.006% margin in the vote for “Global Popularity Award” on the last day of voting.
The Top 10 of “Global Popularity Award” include BTS, LIm Youngwoong, Blackpink, NCT Dream, Seventeen, Stray Kids, and Ateez.
