BTS’s Suga experienced a dramatic rise on the Latin American music charts, going from No. 1 to No. 40, effectively silencing local media and critics who had been spreading false rumors about him.

On August 24, it was reported that Suga’s track “Polar Night” topped the iTunes Chart in Mexico. Additionally, his songs “The Last,” “Snooze,” “Haegeum,” “Daechwita,” and “People” all secured spots in the Top 10. Tracks such as “What Do You Think,” “Amygdala,” “Moonlight,” “Interlude,” “Give It to Me,” “Burn It,” and “So Far Away” also reached the Top 20.

Furthermore, other songs by Suga ranged from No. 21 to No. 40 on Mexico’s iTunes Chart. As of August 24, Suga’s entire catalog dominated the Top 40, effectively putting to rest the malicious “fake” news that had been circulating.
