In a remarkable achievement, Seventeen, the popular K-pop group, attracted an astounding 1 million audiences in their performances throughout the year, according to settlement records disclosed by their agency, Pledis Entertainment, on December 28.

The group’s stellar performance saw them sell out a total of 23 shows in 2023, marking a significant increase of 200,000 from the previous year’s 34 performances. The diverse audience engagement methods included 800,000 in-person attendees and 270,000 online viewers, including those tuning in through live-streaming platforms.

Seventeen’s musical success reached new heights this year, with total record sales exceeding 16 million, showcasing the group’s enduring popularity. Their 10th mini album, “FML” (FIGHT FOR MY LIFE Version), released in April, achieved an impressive milestone by surpassing 6.28 million cumulative sales, securing its place as the best-selling K-pop single album to date.

Continuing their triumphs, Seventeen’s 11th mini album, “SEVENTEENTH Heaven,” released in October, quickly garnered sales of 5.09 million copies within its first week. Notably, this album made history by becoming the first K-pop single album to achieve over 5 million copies in sales within the initial seven days of its release.
